If everything is wellbeing, nothing is.
The wellbeing sector moves $6.8 trillion a year and grows faster than the global economy. And yet it remains a patchwork: a retreat here, a clinic there, an app, a rural coliving. Good projects with no common map, no voice to represent them, no criteria to set them apart from marketing. Meanwhile, mental health is a global emergency and thousands of territories are looking for a reason not to empty out.
The Wellbeing Confederation exists because someone has to do the work of organizing, connecting and representing the ecosystem already building another way to live.
We are not inventing wellbeing. We are giving it the infrastructure it was missing.

06 · Methodology and scientific backing
A concept, a framework and a category.
Vital Lucidity is the operating unit. Otiogenesis, the published theoretical framework. Conscience Tech, the economic category that articulates them in the world.
The concept
Vital Lucidity
It's what happens when what you think, feel, do and experience all align in the same direction. We call that alignment coherence.
When that coherence holds, wellbeing stops being something you chase and becomes a natural consequence. And it doesn't stay inside: a person in that state lights up their surroundings — their family, their team, their neighborhood. That's why we make it the operating unit of the whole network: because it scales.
The framework
Otiogenesis
It is the theoretical framework that gives scientific grounding to everything the confederation does. It integrates neuroscience, information physics and the contemplative tradition, with 62 verified convergences and 5 falsifiable hypotheses. It is published with a permanent DOI on Zenodo (CERN) and PhilPapers, so any researcher, regulator or journalist can cite and verify it.
